Dear friends, have a blessed weekend

My dear friends, we are on the brink of a very busy weekend; a weekend of weddings, birthday celebrations, family re-unions, unveiling of tombstones, funerals and many other activies which may involve sport and recreation.

This is the time when political leadership may be visiting some rural places to canvass. Other parties will probably remain in towns holding crucial meetings, either strategising for the forthcoming elections or simply counting their stock.

What makes this weekend special? Nothing really, exept that it comes with a month end when a lucky few woud have recieved salaries, rent for their properties, pack-back from their debtors.

It is rather unusual for churches to have major events in winter, so not so much may be happening in the houses of the Lord.

The list is long friends, all I can say or should be saying is: Take good care of yourselves and of your nation. May the Lord of mercy shower you with His blessings in all the good things you will be engaged in.

However, we should all be mindful of this scripture. "Now all has been heard, here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep His commandmends, for this is the whole duty of man.

"For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing whether it is good or evil." Ecc. 12:13-14. Old Testament. I love you friends
